アーモモミュージックスクールは、
学校でも職場でも家庭でもない
“サードプレイス”として、安心して学び、
自分らしさを自由に表現できる場所を
目指しています。
音楽を通じて心がほぐれ、
内側にある感情が、
音にのって自由にあふれ出す――
そのプロセスの中で、子どもも大人も、
自分らしい輝きに出会ってほしいと
願っています。
子育てに奮闘中のお母さんたちにとっても、
ここが“ホッとできる時間”となり、
お子さんへの愛情を、
歌やふれあいを通して
自然に伝えられるような場所でありたい。
親子で音楽を楽しむ時間が、
心に残る宝物となりますように。
音楽は、私にとって一生の友であり、
世界共通のことばでした。
海外で不安な日々を過ごしていた時も、
音楽があったからこそ人とつながり、
親子での海外滞在中も、
音楽が愛情に満ちた時間を
もたらしてくれました。
そんなふうに、
音楽が誰かの人生の支えとなるような、
あたたかい教室でありたいと考えています。
そして、大人になって
初めて楽器に触れる方や、
昔少しやっていたけれど
再開のきっかけがなかった方にも、
気軽に音楽を楽しめる場を
届けたいと思っています。
堅苦しい練習ではなく、
好きな音楽を、自分のペースで学べること。
そんな自由でしなやかな
音楽との付き合い方を、
ここで見つけていただけたら嬉しいです。
3歳でバイオリン、6歳でピアノに出会い、
音の世界に夢中になる。
楽器を弾くことで心がすっと落ち着いたり、
音を通して誰かと通じ合えるような感覚が、
幼い頃から大好きだった。
そんな音楽との時間を重ねるうちに、
自然と両方の楽器でコンクールにも
挑戦するようになる。
国立小学校在学中、恩師のすすめで
初めて人前で演奏したときの喜びは、
今も忘れられない。
中高一貫校ではオーケストラ部に所属し、
仲間と音を重ねる楽しさに出会う。
中学3年で千葉から大阪へ転校後は、
文化祭でバンドを組み、
クラシック以外の音楽にも心惹かれていく。
大阪・北野高校でも
オーケストラ部に所属し、
音楽好きの友人たちに
囲まれて青春を過ごす。
高校3年のとき、家族で
アメリカ・カリフォルニア州
ナパバレーに移住。
英語がわからない中でも、
毎日の合唱とオーケストラの授業に
心を救われる。
高校の先生のすすめで受けた
サンフランシスコユースオーケストラの
オーディションに合格し、
4年間在籍。ヨーロッパツアーにも参加。
その間、San Francisco Symphony
第1バイオリニスト Cathy van Hoesen 氏に
個人レッスンで師事する。
ナパカレッジのオーケストラでは
コンサートマスターを務めたのち、
UCバークレーへ編入。
UCバークレーでは、オーケストラの
コンサートマスターを務めたほか、
コンチェルトコンペティションで選出され、
ソリストとしてオーケストラとの
共演の機会を得る。
また、現地のシカモア教会で
オルガニストとして礼拝に携わり、
バイオリンの演奏も行うなど、
音楽の現場に深く関わっていく。
この頃から、子どもから大人まで
幅広い世代にピアノとバイオリンを
教え始め、口コミで
その輪が広がっていった。
その後、ニューヨークの
マンハッタン音楽院に進学し、
Lucie Robert 氏に師事。
バイオリン科修士課程を修了し、
ピアノも継続して学ぶ。
修了後はアーティストビザを取得し、
New World Symphony などの
オーケストラに参加。
演奏活動の傍ら、さまざまな音楽教育や
地域のプロジェクトにも携わる。
28歳で帰国後は音楽事務所に勤務。
演奏活動と指導も続けていく中で、
少しずつ自分の音楽の場を広げていった。
2021年からは自宅で音楽教室をスタートし、
現在はピアノ・バイオリンの
レッスンに加え、
親子向けの英語手遊び歌クラス
「リトル・ミュージックタイム」も
開催している。
2児の母として、
日々子育てにも向き合う毎日。
長女が0歳から3歳までの間は
北京で子育てをし、毎週通っていた
オーストラリア人の先生による
親子音楽クラスは、
今でも宝物のような思い出になっている。
その体験が、「音楽を通じて、
親子が笑顔になる時間を届けたい」
という、現在の活動の原点となっている。
Ahmomo Music School is a warm “third place” — not school, not work, not home — where both children and adults can feel safe, enjoy learning, and express their true selves through music.
Through music, the heart begins to soften.
Emotions deep inside start to flow freely, carried gently on the sound.
In that process, I hope both children and adults can discover their own unique light.
For mothers in the midst of busy days,
I hope this can be a moment of peace—
a space where love for their child can be felt and expressed naturally,
through songs, gentle touch, and shared time.
May the moments you spend making music together
become lasting treasures in your hearts.
Music has always been my lifelong friend—
a language that speaks across cultures and connects hearts.
During uncertain times living abroad, music helped me form bonds with others.
And while raising my child overseas, music brought us moments filled with love and connection.
I hope to create a warm and welcoming space,
where music becomes a gentle support in someone’s life.
This space is also for adults—
those who are picking up an instrument for the first time,
or those who played long ago and are looking for a way to begin again.
No pressure, no rigid routines—
just the joy of learning music you love, at your own pace.

Little Music Time is an English music and movement class for children aged 0 to 6 and their caregivers.
Through simple hand movements, gentle swaying, and playful songs in English, parents and children enjoy meaningful moments of connection.
The class is designed to help little ones naturally absorb the sounds and rhythms of English—just by moving, playing, and having fun.
It’s a playful and musical experience that engages the whole body and nurtures both language and expression.
No prior experience with English is needed—everyone is welcome!
At the heart of the class are three simple things:

When I was raising my daughter in Beijing, I attended a parent-child music class led by an Australian teacher.
Those gentle, music-filled moments with my daughter—so warm, so tender—are still one of my most treasured memories.
Little Music Time was born from a simple wish:
To create a place where music brings more smiles to parents and children alike.
Ayumi began playing the violin at age 3 and the piano at age 6, quickly falling in love with the world of sound.
From a young age, music brought her a sense of calm and connection—expressing her feelings through sound felt both natural and joyful.
As she continued her musical journey, she began participating in competitions on both instruments. During elementary school, her teacher encouraged her to perform publicly for the first time, and she discovered the joy of sharing music with others.
She joined the orchestra club throughout middle and high school, where she experienced the joy of playing in ensembles.
After moving from Chiba to Osaka, she was exposed to a variety of musical genres and began exploring beyond classical music—forming a band for her school’s cultural festival and making music with friends who shared her passion.
In her final year of high school, Ayumi moved with her family to Napa Valley, California.
Though she spoke no English at first, daily choir and orchestra classes became a source of comfort and connection.
Encouraged by a teacher, she auditioned for and was accepted into the San Francisco Youth Orchestra, where she played for four years and participated in a European tour.
During this time, she studied privately with Cathy van Hoesen, First Violinist of the San Francisco Symphony.
She also served as concertmaster of the Napa Valley College Orchestra before transferring to the University of California, Berkeley.
At UC Berkeley, she served as concertmaster of the university orchestra and was selected through the concerto competition to perform as a soloist with the orchestra.
She was also active in the local music scene, serving as organist at Sycamore Church and often performing violin during services.
It was during this period that she began teaching both violin and piano to students of all ages, with her teaching spreading by word of mouth.
She went on to pursue a master’s degree at the Manhattan School of Music in New York, studying under Lucie Robert.
She completed her graduate studies in violin performance while continuing her piano training.
After graduation, she was granted an artist visa and performed with ensembles including the New World Symphony, while also taking part in various musical and community projects.
Upon returning to Japan at age 28, she worked for a music agency while continuing both her performing and teaching career.
In 2021, she opened her own home studio, where she now offers private violin and piano lessons, as well as an English-based parent-child music class called Little Music Time.
As a mother of two, she continues to balance her music and family life.
From ages 0 to 3, her eldest daughter was raised in Beijing, where Ayumi attended a weekly parent-child music class led by an Australian teacher—an experience she treasures deeply to this day.
That memory has since become the inspiration for her current mission: to create joyful, music-filled moments where parents and children can connect through sound and smiles.
